Manchester at the Musicals

Fri 20 December 2024, 7:30pm,
Co-Op Live, Manchester

Co-Op Live will be hosting Manchester at the Musicals: A Festive Celebration, showcasing West End theatre favourites with a seasonal twist.

The all-star lineup features double Olivier Award winner Sheridan Smith performing songs from The Greatest Showman and Cilla, and acclaimed stage and screen star Samantha Barks (Disney’s Frozen, Les Misérables), along with a lineup of surprise guests. All will be accompanied by our musicians for a truly special evening.

BAFTA Award winner Smith most recently appeared in London’s West End in the brand new musical, Opening Night, having previously won two prestigious Olivier Awards for her work in Legally Blonde and Flare Path. Barks recently starred as Elsa in the West End production of Disney’s Frozen, playing to over 2.8 million people.

Manchester at the Musicals: A Festival Celebration will see Co-op Live – purpose-built to amplify sound with tailored acoustic treatment – transformed into an immersive winter wonderland, complete with seasonal decorations, tasty food, and warming drinks, as well as some additional surprises for fans to enjoy.

Targeted at theatre lovers, families and festive fans.
