Huddersfield Choral Society – Autumn Concert

Fri 28 October 2022, 7:30pm,
Huddersfield Town Hall

Due to unforeseen circumstances, tonight’s concert will be conducted by Greg Batsleer

We are back with our good friends at Huddersfield Choral Society.

In 2020 HCS collaborated with Simon Armitage to commission two new works, released online during the pandemic and later featuring in a BBC special. Now orchestrated for the concert hall, We’ll Sing and The Song Thrush and the Mountain Ash will have their World Premiere in this concert, alongside choral classics by Brahms and Mendelssohn. Martyn Brabbins, Music Director of English National Opera and HCS Artistic Director, conducts.

  • Cheryl Francis-Hoad We’ll Sing (World Premiere)
