As the nights grow longer, wrap up for this nourishing and enriching journey to the Scottish Highlands.
Travel with us to Gaelic lands, where the winter nights are long and isolating.
Programme
Donald’s newly commissioned work “Thuit an Oidhche Oirnn” (The Night Overtook Us) is inspired by the hardship, wild beauty, and community spirit of an island winter. Joined by esteemed musical friends from Scotland, tonight’s concert will be woven together by traditional and contemporary Scottish tunes and Gaelic Songs arranged by Donald. This is a sumptuous orchestral feast celebrating folk roots, with a twist.
