Manchester Camerata + RNCM: Beethoven, Elgar & Smickersgill

Fri 9 December 2022, 7:30pm,

Joint birthday party?!?

This concert is a dual celebration as RNCM students perform side-by side with Manchester Camerata in a special evening marking our shared 50th anniversaries.

Together, we’ve co-commissioned a new work by alumna Carmel Smickersgill alongside a programme of Beethoven and Elgar. Join us with our incredible Music Director, Gábor Takács-Nagy, as today’s musicians perform with those of tomorrow.

Hannah Roberts will play (the Concerto) on a fine Rugeri cello generously loaned to her by J & A Beare
