Classically Yours – Sound Waves

Thu 18 April 2024, 6:30pm,
Withernsea High School

A concert at Withernsea High School in partnership with Orchestras Live and local partners

Programmed by the local community to celebrate the significant anniversaries and amazing work of our local lifeboats, the concert features music from composers such as Mendelssohn and Debussy together with music from Pirates of the Caribbean and many more. Classically Yours is thrilled to announce two world premieres of new music inspired by our coast created by the community and performed with our orchestra.

Community performers include young people from Hornsea & Withernsea Secondary Schools, Hornsea and Withernsea Ladies Choirs and local care settings Bleak House, Granville Court, Mere Hall, and Queens. Classically Yours is proud to be working with the local lifeboat teams from Withernsea RNLI & Hornsea Inshore Rescue with an opportunity to meet their members at the concert.

There will be a retiring collection for Hornsea Inshore Rescue and Withernsea RNLI at the concert.
