Nǐ hǎo / Hello!

For the past few days, we’ve been training 35 participants from Taipei City Hospital, The National Taipei University of Nursing and Health Sciences, plus musicians and students from Taiwan’s National Symphony Orchestra, as part of our first-ever international online Music in Mind training course.

We were due to visit in person last year, to continue our ongoing partnership with the NSO in Taiwan, but have instead managed to deliver the benefits of Music in Mind to a much larger and wider-ranging group of participants from all over Taipei instead.  How’s that for global impact!

The group now has the basic skills to be able to deliver some of the benefits of Music in Mind to elders living with dementia in a hospital in central Taipei, and we can’t wait to get back together again – in person or online. This project is supported by the British Council and National Culture and Arts Foundation in Taiwan through the Connections through Culture programme.
