1 Week.
10 Boroughs.
22 performances.

16 Music Cafés for people living with dementia and their carers.

Here We Are is about bringing exceptional music for free to every borough of Greater Manchester. Nearly 4,000 of you across Greater Manchester saw us, and almost 300 completed our survey.

From car parks to museums to community centres to airports, we created incredible moments together through music

The world can sometimes feel like a big, divided and somewhat scary place at the moment, but we had this one piece of feedback that felt like it hit the nail on the head for why we’re all here: “They made me feel human… and remember that being human and being alive is a miracle.”

One in three of you said you had never seen an orchestra perform or had not seen one for more than three years; 93% say performances make their local area a better place to live and a whopping 96% say orchestral performances improve their wellbeing.

None of this is possible without the support of our donors, trusts, philanthropists, legacy givers, and partners around Greater Manchester.

More than all, all of this would be quite pointless if it wasn’t for you – our audiences.

Reach out – get involved in any way you can. Here We Are will be back in 2027 between 17-19th of September.
