Thanks to all four schools who took part in our creative music project in summer 2019 with SKY Music Hub. A composer and four musicians from Manchester Camerata worked with groups of up to 30 young musicians to explore creative composition, sound scaping and graphic scores, using a variety of musical instruments and techniques. Over a number of workshops, the young composers went on musical journeys to mars and back, creating music to tell a story decided by each group.

All groups performed their new compositions to each other at a joint concert hosted by Kirkby High School, where family and friends join in the fun as well!
