Need a break in your week? Join Manchester Camerata at our home, The Monastery in Gorton, for our popular Lunchtime Concert series. Proudly supported by our friends at Classic FM, these intimate, inclusive, one-hour performances offer a world-class musical escape for all.

Whether you’re a regular or a first-time visitor, experience live music in a breathtaking, historic setting. Our lunchtime concerts are never the same – each programme is carefully curated around a unique theme, idea, or area of inspiration. You’ll hear everything from our principal players performing masterpieces to a String Quartet exploring new sounds to our Camerata 360° Ruth Sutton Fellows stepping into the spotlight. Expect something timeless, something new, or something you’ve never experienced before!

Upcoming dates for the series include:7 Oct, 2 Dec, 17 Feb, 28 Apr, and 23 June. More dates will be announced soon! Save the date, clear an hour, and step into a moment of music, calm, and connection in the middle of your week. Discover the best Lunchtime Concerts Manchester has to offer.

These are relaxed concerts open to everyone in our community, and we actively invite guests from schools, care homes and community groups. If this is something of interest, contact us here.
