Experience a world premiere from our Artistic Partner and renowned Sufi composer Rushil Ranjan, co-founder of the Orchestral Qawwali Project, with our musicians, and a very special guest.
Rushil Ranjan is a self-taught, critically-acclaimed, award-winning composer, arranger and producer, known for his work in bridging classical artforms from around the world.
For MIF25, he brings the Orchestral Qawwali Project to the lush surrounds of Aviva Studios. Established in 2020 by Ranjan and his partner Abi Sampa, the Orchestral Qawwali Project has soared to prominence with its unique blend of Sufi poetry, Indian Classical dance and orchestral arrangements.
Hot off the back of creating the critically acclaimed score for Aakash Odedra’s award-winning Edinburgh show, Songs of the Bulbul, we’re teaming up with him for MIF25.
With a very special guest singer set to join the line-up, don’t miss this chance to immerse yourself in a gorgeous celebration of Sufi culture and song.
