Mozart, Made in Manchester

Fri 20 September 2024, 7:30pm,
Stoller Hall

This is our final instalment of Mozart, Made in Manchester with Jean-Efflam Bavouzet.

Since we started in 2016, we have presented to you 11 critically acclaimed shows (this is our 12th!!), 21 concertos, and 12 overtures of pure Mozart magic with Jean-Efflam Bavouzet & Gabor.

We embarked on the mammoth project of recording all of Mozart’s piano concertos alongside Chetham’s School of Music, which have so far gained over 2,653,274 streams on Spotify.

And now.. we welcome you to our final instalment of this monumental series!

This is your last chance to experience the undeniable musical chemistry of Gábor Takács-Nagy and Jean-Efflam Bavouzet, as their established musical brotherhood and vivid style captivate the energy of Mozart.

We will have not one, not two, but three pianos on stage, as Jean-Efflam will be joined by Andrea Nemecz and Rose McLachlan to bring to life this genius and unprecedented composition by Mozart.

Pre-concert talk 6:30

As part of Camerata’s ongoing partnership with The University of Sheffield, we will be joined by eminent musicologist and Mozart expert Professor Simon Keefe for a pre-concert talk. A fantastic opportunity to learn more about Mozart’s incredible genius.
