Join Manchester Camerata, alongside our Artistic Partner Ying Fang and Music Director Gábor Takács-Nagy, for the second instalment of the next stage in our Mozart, Made in Manchester journey.

One of the most celebrated Mozart sopranos of her generation, Ying Fang is a principal artist at the Metropolitan Opera, with The New York Times praising her as “indispensable at the Met in Mozart”. The Financial Times has described her as “a voice that can stop time, pure and rich and open and consummately expressive”.

She will be performing a selection of Mozart concert arias alongside our Music Director, Gábor Takács-Nagy. Gabor will also lead the orchestra in two of the composer’s most exhilarating symphonies. The vibrant Haffner Symphony showcases Mozart at his most energetic and brilliant, while the majestic Prague Symphony reveals the dramatic depth and orchestral imagination of his style.

This concert continues our ambitious Mozart, Made in Manchester project, which over the coming years will explore all of Mozart’s final symphonies and record a selection of his concert arias with Ying Fang. Together, these performances celebrate the theatrical flair, emotional richness and extraordinary invention that make Mozart’s music so enduring.

Mozart, Made in Manchester is one of our flagship projects, running for over 9 years and has been underpinned by philanthropic support. If you are interested in learning more about supporting this project or any of our work, please contact rellul@manchestercamerata.com
