Manchester Camerata joins Chameleons at New Century Hall this December

Manchester Camerata is joining legendary Manchester post-punk band Chameleons for their Home is Where the Heart Is 2026 celebrations at New Century Hall this December.

As part of two special anniversary concerts, Manchester Camerata will perform with Chameleons on Saturday 5 December 2026, adding the rich sound of a live string orchestra to the band’s iconic catalogue. The collaboration brings new depth, atmosphere and emotion to some of Chameleons’ most celebrated songs, creating a unique live concert experience for fans of post-punk, alternative rock and orchestral music.

Across the weekend, audiences can also enjoy an exciting line-up of special guests. Friday 4 December features performances from B-Movie and Kahula, while Saturday 5 December includes Patrick Fitzgerald (Kitchens of Distinction / Stephen Hero) and Evi Vine.
