Storytime with Sir Michael Morpurgo and Josie d’Arby

A truly ROARSOME concert for the whole family.

Our matinee for young concertgoers experiencing classical music for the first time, to seasoned goers who are young at heart. 

Featuring two iconic works: Saint-Saëns, Carnival of the Animals and Prokofiev’s Peter and the Wolf. The illustrious author, Sir Michael Morpurgo, will be joined by award-winning television presenter Josie D’Arby to bring these incredible pieces to life. 

Join us for this wild and colourful celebration of the animal kingdom – dressing up is encouraged! 

Tickets £12.50 under 16 or £25 + Booking fee.

Best seats in the house are available at £10 for under 30s (limited availability), £3 for Gorton Residents + Booking fee.

Post-concert, we will have mini-instruments in the foyer that children can play with. This will go on for about 1.5hours after the concert finishes and the cafe/bar will remain open.

There will also be buggy parking available.
