Here We Are

Here We Are

Tue 15 September 2026 – Sun 20 September 2026,
All Boroughs of Greater Manchester

For the second year running, we are performing for free across all ten boroughs of Greater Manchester, putting live performance at the heart of your local community.

Here We Are is about building deeper connections in every corner of the region. This year, we’re growing the project even further, collaborating with both new and familiar faces across the boroughs to ensure world-class music is accessible to everyone.

Alongside our free community shows, the series includes two special ticketed headline performances. We’re also opening the doors of our home – The Monastery, for open rehearsals in the lead-up to our headline concert.

Across 14 shows, workshops, pop-up performances and open rehearsals, you’ll experience music from our world-class orchestral musicians and internationally leading artists, including conductor Christoph Altstaedt and pianist, and our Artistic Partner, Ethan Loch.

There is something for everyone: from family-friendly events and youth collaborations to tailored sessions for people living with dementia. Watch this space for more information coming soon.
