Nicola Benedetti is one of the most sought-after violinists of her generation and a bit of an international superstar. That’s why we were delighted when The Benedetti Foundation reached out to ask if they could launch their new Spotlight Series by focusing on our Music in Mind work. Over the course of last week, the Benedetti Foundation have shared stories of our Music in Mind programme for people living with dementia and their carers, and the impact it makes.

Here’s what The Benedetti Foundation had to say

“Music in Mind is a dementia-focused initiative using live music to transform wellbeing, often described as “a conversation without words.”

Developed in partnership with researchers at The University of Manchester, Music in Mind is built on evidence showing that music can reduce stress, improve mood, and create meaningful social connection for people living with dementia –

This is music with purpose.
This is impact beyond the concert hall.🌟”
