Posted on October 24, 2010

Saturday October 23 2010 was a big day for Manchester Camerata in so many ways.  The Pictures from St Petersburg concert at the RNCM Concert Hall brought together Music Director Designate Gábor Takács-Nagy with newly appointed Leader Giovanni Guzzo in Manchester for the first time, with world renowned cellist Miklos Perényi in a thrilling sell-out concert.

The line up included a new work Windows on the Neva by one of the country’s leading young composers, Nina Whiteman.
